Economic Calendar: Release Dates For Central Bank Economic Figures

Economic  CalenderThere are a set in stone set of predetermined dates each year, when all of the Central Banks will release their facts and figures which alerts everyone just how well or how bad that country is performing.

In this Forex Trading guide we are going to introduce you to all of the major central banks and will let you know on which dates they are going to release their latest set of economic figures. There is also a wealth of other information that is released on the following dates, and it is on the following dates that interest rates can be lowered, raised or keep the same by each Central Bank.

Therefore as a Forex trader you do need to be fully aware of these dates, as the information, as soon as it is released can and very often will have a very dramatic effect on the currency exchange rates of each country releasing their figures

US Federal Reserve – FOMC

The US Federal Reserve has done or will be releasing their latest set of economic figures on the following dates in 2014: January 29, March 19, April, 30 June, 18 July, 30 September, 17 October, 29D and December 17.

Bank of England (BOE)

The Bank of England have done or will be releasing their latest set of economic figures on the following dates in 2014: January 9 , February 6, March 6, April 10, May 8, June 5, July 10, August 7, September 4, October 9, November 6 and December 4.

Bank of Japan (BOJ)

The Bank of Japan has done or will be releasing their latest set of economic figures on the following dates in 2014: January 22, February, 18, March 11, April 8, April30, May 20, June 13, July 15, August 8, September 4, October 7, October 31, November 19 and on December 19.

Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA)

The Reserve Bank of Australia has done or will be releasing their latest set of economic figures on the following dates in 2014: February 4, March 4, April 1, May 6, June 3, July 1, August 5, September 2, October7, November 4 and on December, 2.

European Central Bank (ECB)

The European Central Bank has done or will be releasing their latest set of economic figures on the following dates in 2014: January 9, February 6, March 6, April 3, May, 8, June 5, July 3 ,August 7, September 4, October 2, November 6 and on December, 4.

Swiss National Bank (SNB)

The Swiss National Bank has done or will be releasing their latest set of economic figures on the following dates in 2014: March 20, June 19, September 18 and on December 11.

Bank of Canada Rate (BOC)

The Bank of England has done or will be releasing their latest set of economic figures on the following dates in 2014: January 22, March 5, April 16, June 4, July 16, September 3, October 22 and on December 3.

Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ)

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand has done or will be releasing their latest set of economic figures on the following dates in 2014: January 29, March 12, April 23, June 11, July 23, September 10, October 29 and December 10.

As an online Forex trader it is obviously very important that you are always aware of when the date and figures are released from any Central Bank. The art of being able to make a profit once those figures are released is trying to be able to predict just how good or bad the figures will be, and this is where time, effort and a lot of research may just give you an edge.

If you are relatively new to the world of Forex Trading, then we would suggest you take a look at the historic dates listed above and look up the respective reports from several Central Banks, whilst also having a look at how the currency markets moved on those days, after the data was released.

You will soon see just how violently money markets react whenever figures are realised which either show a country’s economy is improving or taking a turn for the worse. You should soon get the hang of making profitable trades once you know what you are looking for, but as always you have to react very quickly!
